We are seeking investors with a minimum of $100,000 liquid assets and a total of $300,000 net worth. We do require that our franchisees have a passion for sushi, a drive to grow and the desire to become a meaningful part of their communities.
What are the growth markets for Ginger Sushi Boutique?
When Sushi Shop began in Canada in the year 2000, we represented a forward-thinking approach to sushi and Japanese cuisine. Through the support of the MTY Group family of franchise opportunities, we exploded across Canada, eventually growing to more than 150 stores. Now, we’re bringing this concept to the U.S. as Ginger Sushi Boutique.
We have significant pent-up demand and room for prime new locations throughout the United States. We offer tremendous growth potential with available space in choice locations. We believe our brand will quickly grow great name recognition and a reputation for being one of the best bets in the fast casual dining space.
What makes a good location?
Ginger Sushi Boutique franchise does well in locations with a large amount of foot traffic and local population, competing well with QSR concepts. Our upscale appearance belies an affordable dining experience suitable for the casual Asian food enthusiast and the connoisseur alike. Areas with high counts for both foot and vehicle traffic will drive business, while good visibility will draw customer attention to our branding and marketing. Ginger Sushi Boutique works well in locations where other QSR locations work, such as large shopping centers, mall and food court locations, and busy residential-business areas.
What are our business models?
We have restaurant models for in-line stores as well as mall and food court models. This allows for franchise owners who desire to lease to eliminate the cost expenditure of purchasing land or property and the related time-consuming steps and processes such as obtaining permits or contracts. These restaurant models are significantly less expensive to develop than other QSR concepts and faster to build.
Can I own multiple Ginger Sushi Boutique franchise locations?
While multiple unit ownership opportunities are certainly possible, we encourage our franchisees to begin their new career as the owner of a Ginger Sushi Boutique with one location. Once you have developed a mastery over your business, we will help you scale up to multi-unit ownership efficiently and effectively.
How many employees do I need?
Every Ginger Sushi Boutique restaurant is led by a working owner who oversees a staff of between 10 and 15 individuals, consisting of four to five members per shift, depending on the size of the unit.
